Built for dogs age 7 and older
Your senior companion's second opinion. On call 24/7.
Unlimited video and chat guidance from licensed veterinarians, a structured senior-care program, and an optional emergency fund of up to $3,000 — working alongside your regular vet, never instead of them.
There are an estimated 30+ million senior dogs in the U.S. — and precious few services built just for them.
Built for every senior stage — 7–9 · 10–12 · 13+ years
How it works
Three steps to more good days
A structured program for aging dogs — not just a hotline for bad moments.
Take the wellness quiz
Answer 12 questions built on published veterinary assessment scales. Get your dog's Senior Wellness Score — an educational snapshot to discuss with a vet, free.
Start your dog's record
A baseline intake call with a licensed veterinarian builds your companion's complete record — history, medications, weight, mobility. Every vet you talk to after that sees the full story, 24/7, whenever worry strikes.
Track more good days
Quarterly wellness review reminders, weight and mobility trends, quality-of-life tracking, and a Senior Health Report you can hand to your regular vet at every visit.
What we do — and what we honestly don't
Our veterinarians can
- Answer any question about your senior dog, day or night
- Help you decide if a symptom can wait or needs a clinic now
- Guide nutrition, mobility, comfort, and home care
- Track trends and prepare summaries for your regular vet
- Support you through quality-of-life and end-of-life decisions
By law, virtual-only care cannot
- Diagnose a condition — that requires a hands-on exam
- Prescribe medication — your in-person vet does that
- Replace your regular veterinarian or emergency care

Not ready for a membership?
One-Time Vet Call or Chat — $25. One conversation with a licensed veterinarian, no subscription. Join the same day and the $25 is credited to your first month. Guidance and education only; not for emergencies.
*The emergency fund, explained plainly
- It is a membership benefit, not pet insurance, and it doesn't replace insurance.
- There's a 14-day waiting period after signup before funds can be used. No exceptions.
- Covers one life-threatening emergency per membership year, up to your plan's limit.
- You must contact our vets first (video or text with images) so they can assess and refer the emergency, then seek care within 4 hours of that call.
- Funds are paid directly to the veterinary clinic after the invoice is verified — never to the pet owner.
- Payments must be current, and any remaining annual subscription balance is deducted from the payout. Covers up to 6 registered pets in your household.
- Not available in Washington State. Washington residents can join Senior Advice; the emergency fund benefit cannot be offered in WA at this time.
- One payout regardless of invoice size; the benefit is non-transferable, and proof of pet ownership may be requested.

Cancel anytime from your account page in two clicks — no phone calls, no retention scripts. If you cancel, your plan runs through the period you've paid for. Monthly fees are non-refundable; annual fees are refundable for the remaining months only when 6+ full months remain — except if your dog passes away, when unused months are always refunded. Questions
Asked honestly, answered honestly
Can your vets diagnose my dog or prescribe medication?
No — and any telehealth service that implies otherwise in most states is overpromising. Virtual-only vets can provide guidance, triage, and education, but diagnosis and prescriptions legally require an established relationship with an in-person exam in most states. We work alongside your regular vet: we handle the daily questions, monitoring, and 2 a.m. worries; they handle exams, diagnoses, and prescriptions.
Is the emergency fund (EVPM) pet insurance?
No. The emergency fund is a membership benefit with specific rules (see the plain-English box above), not an insurance policy. It is not available to Washington State residents. Many members carry pet insurance too — we're happy to provide itemized invoices you can submit to your insurer, though reimbursement depends on your policy.
What happens in a real emergency?
Go to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic immediately — don't wait for us. Telehealth is never a substitute for emergency care. If you have a Guardian or Complete plan and want to use the emergency fund, contact our vets by video or text with images first so they can assess and refer you, then seek care within 4 hours.
Who actually provides the veterinary services?
Consultations are provided by independently licensed U.S. veterinarians through our clinical services partner — not by Senior Paw World, Inc. itself, which provides the platform, program, and member experience. It's the standard structure that keeps clinical judgment in licensed hands.
What is the Senior Wellness Score?
A free educational tool built on published veterinary assessment concepts (body condition, mobility, cognition, and quality-of-life scales). It gives you a 0–100 snapshot and trends over time to discuss with a veterinarian. It is not a diagnosis, and using it doesn't create a vet-client-patient relationship.
How hard is it to cancel?
A couple of clicks from your account page, anytime. Canceling is exactly as easy as signing up — that's not just a promise, it's the law in California, and we apply it to every member everywhere.
My dog passed away. What happens to my membership?
If your dog passes away — at any point, on any plan — contact us: billing stops immediately and we refund all unused full months, regardless of the 6-month rule. If your dog passes within the first 30 days of an annual plan, we refund the annual fee in full.
About us
More good days for the dogs who gave us their best years
Senior Paw World exists for one reason: the last third of a companion's life is the most medically complex, emotionally heavy, and expensive chapter — and the least supported. General pet telehealth is built for episodic problems. Senior dogs need continuity: someone tracking the weight, the stiffness, the appetite, the good days and the hard ones, between vet visits.
We are not veterinarians and we don't practice medicine. We build the program, the tracking tools, and the 24/7 access; independently licensed veterinarians provide every consultation through our clinical services partner. And we work with your regular vet — every quarterly report is designed to be handed across the exam table.
